According to reports from Syrian state news, a drone attack on a military college in the city of Homs in central Syria on May 7, 2021 has killed at least 80 people and injured more than 120 others. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that the drone attack caused a large number of casualties in the college, including students and military personnel. It is not clear who was responsible for the attack, though airstrikes and drone attacks are usually attributed to Russia, the United States and Israel.
